Dr. Matt Simmons was born and raised in Katy, TX. He then went on to receive his Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Texas at San Antonio. While participating in an accelerated dual degree program, he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the Health Science Center in San Antonio.
In February 2015, Dr. Simmons bought and started practicing at El Campo Dentistry and Orthodontics, where he has been performing general dentistry for the last 8 years. He also brought oral surgery and orthodontic specialties to the small town of El Campo, greatly expanding the range of services available to the community.
In the summer of 2015, Dr. Simmons and his wife moved to historic downtown Victoria, where his wife opened Peaches and Tortilla Mercantile four years ago. In March of 2022, she moved her business to historic Main Street in downtown Victoria, continuing to contribute to the growth and development of the area.
Dr. Simmons and his wife have one daughter named Emmy. With his commitment to expanding the range of dental services available in his community and his dedication to his family, Dr. Simmons is a valued member of the Victoria community.
Dr. Simmons’ interest in dentistry developed early on in life. He loves education and staying up to date on the latest in dental technology and procedures so that the office can bring the absolute best in dental care to the patients. To Dr. Simmons, exemplary care in dentistry is more than just state-of-the-art technology and staying clinically-current. He passionately believes patients also deserve a dentist with compassion and empathy. His approach to patient care sets Dr. Simmons apart from other practitioners in the field.
